Established in 2016, SOLAWARE was launched by a group of students at the Quinnipiac University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. As the company grows, so does our approach to UV awareness. Playground Safety Surfacing
Seventy percent (70%) of playground injuries result from falls off equipment onto unforgiving surfaces. The surface under and around your playground equipment is critical to preventing the injury potential from a fall. Hard surfacing materials, such as concrete or asphalt are unsuitable for playgrounds. Grass or packed earth also do not meet national standards due to poor shock absorbing properties.
